Treasurer

Imagine being the financial backbone of your district, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently. As a Treasurer, you'll have the opportunity to:

  • Administer the district’s finances, keeping an accurate record of all income and expenditure.

  • Have the year-end accounts audited and submit them to the District Accounts Office.

  • Develop a budget, ensuring funds are always available and adhering to HMRC and Union regulations.

  • Recruit two auditors to assist with financial oversight.

  • Work with other officers to promote the Union’s objectives, activities, and campaigns.

  • Use the district’s funds to benefit and involve members, raising the profile of the Union.
